Licensing and open source licensing - 2006/03/17 21:13 Hi all,
at the March meeting we had this excellent discussion about Open Source Licenses and where the GPL is going in version 3

I certainly learned a lot at the meeting.

One point we mentioned, was that it is not so clear if courts will actually uphold these open source licenses, because they have not been challenged much. I just found this blog confirming that the related "Open Commons" license for documents has been upheld by a Dutch court.
